1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
Permanent Yellow GR – P.Y.13 is primarily used in water-based printing inks, where a deep yellow shade, high color stability, and good opacity are required. 2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Disperse P.Y.13 using high-shear mixing systems or specialized milling equipment such as bead mills, basket mills, or triple-roll mills to achieve optimal color strength and particle distribution. In water-based ink systems, incorporate compatible dispersing agents to ensure color durability and prevent agglomeration or dispersion instability. Typical pigment loading ranges from 1–10%, depending on the desired color intensity and substrate requirements.
3. TECHNICAL NOTES
Store Permanent Yellow GR – P.Y.13 in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and high humidity to maintain its physicochemical stability. During handling, use personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks, gloves, and safety goggles, to avoid exposure to fine dust. The pigment offers good resistance to acids, alkalis, alcohols, and certain esters, with moderate-to-high lightfastness and reliable color stability in high-temperature environments up to 180°C.
