VC101 is a traditional lead-based stabilizer with a high PbO content (33.5±1%) and low volatility (≤ 0.3%), providing strong thermal stability and excellent lubrication efficiency in PVC extrusion applications. Its stable working mechanism and compatibility with both internal and external lubricating systems make it highly suitable for processing under high-temperature or prolonged heat exposure. VC101 is particularly effective in formulations requiring maximum thermal durability while balancing the mechanical properties and surface quality of extruded products. 1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
VC101 is widely used in the production of rigid PVC products by extrusion, such as multipurpose pipes, drainage and waste pipes, corrugated pipes, outer sheathing pipes, wall panels, and technical components requiring high toughness and long-term heat resistance. It is well-suited for high-speed processing while maintaining chemical stability throughout the product’s service life.
2. TECHNICAL NOTES
When using VC101, adjust the dosage based on the specific PVC system (recommended: 4–6 phr), and ensure the product is thoroughly mixed and fully dispersed before heating. Due to its lead oxide content, it is essential to follow occupational safety and emission control guidelines. Avoid combining with additives that are sensitive to heavy metals or calcium–zinc systems to ensure chemical and mechanical stability.
Store the product in airtight packaging, in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight and high humidity. After opening, if not used completely, reseal immediately and store properly to prevent moisture absorption. Record the opening date and perform periodic checks for long-term storage.
