1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
Fast Red A3B – P.R.177 is extensively used in industrial coatings, coil coatings, powder coatings, water- and solvent-based decorative coatings, OEM coatings, textile printing, PVC, PO, synthetic fibers, and engineering plastics such as PS, PC, PA, and PU. Its high thermal and lightfastness properties make it a preferred choice for outdoor coatings, metal coatings, engineering plastic coatings, and systems requiring long-term color retention in demanding environments.
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Disperse Fast Red A3B – P.R.177 using bead mills, triple-roll mills, or high-shear mixing systems to ensure uniform particle distribution and optimal color strength. Use compatible dispersing agents tailored to the base system (aqueous, solvent-based, PU, or epoxy) to enhance dispersion efficiency. Typical pigment loading ranges from 1–7%, depending on technical requirements and desired color intensity.
3. TECHNICAL NOTES
Store P.R.177 in a dry, well-ventilated environment, away from direct sunlight and high humidity. During handling, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, masks, and safety goggles, to ensure occupational safety. With thermal stability up to 300°C and maximum lightfastness, this pigment excels in outdoor and high-performance applications. However, avoid use in systems with extremely low pH or highly aggressive solvents without prior compatibility testing.
