Pigment Fast Blue BGS – P.B.15:3 is an organic pigment from the Phthalocyanine group, characterized by a reddish-blue hue, excellent brightness, and stable color tone. It offers high color strength, making it ideal for coating and printing systems requiring consistent performance. With a particle size below 5 microns, it disperses quickly and uniformly. The pigment withstands temperatures up to 250°C and has a lightfastness rating of 7/8. It exhibits maximum resistance to acids, alkalis, alcohol, and solvents. P.B.15:3 features low electrical conductivity and moderate oil absorption, facilitating easy blending in various formulations. 1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
P.B.15:3 is used in industrial coatings, water-based paints, offset inks, and water-based inks. It is also suitable for coloring PVC and blending with thermoplastic polymer systems. The pigment is ideal for products requiring long-term color stability.
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Disperse using a high-speed mixer or ball mill. For water-based systems, adjust the pH to 7.0–8.0 before blending. Use dispersants compatible with the resin system to achieve optimal color durability.
3. TECHNICAL NOTES
Avoid use in systems requiring greenish-blue shades. Test stability for long-term outdoor applications. Store in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct exposure to moist air.
