Pigment Fast Blue BS – P.B.15:1 is a reddish-blue pigment from the Phthalocyanine group. It features high brightness, strong color intensity, and stable hues across various media. With heat resistance up to 250°C and lightfastness rated at 7/8, it is suitable for outdoor applications and products requiring long-term durability. It offers excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and solvents, all rated at 5/5. The pigment has an oil absorption of 35–45 ml/100g, a particle size below 5 microns, and low moisture content, ensuring excellent dispersibility in plastic and ink systems. 1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
P.B.15:1 is commonly used in industrial coatings, water-based paints, offset inks, and water-based ink systems. It is also suitable for coloring PVC and other thermoplastic polymers.
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Disperse using a high-speed mill or ball mill. For water-based systems, adjust the pH to 7.0–8.0. Use compatible dispersants to stabilize color and enhance durability.
3. TECHNICAL NOTES
Avoid combining with systems requiring greenish-blue shades. Do not use in environments with strong oxidizing agents. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight to maintain fineness.
