1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
BOOM R-760 is a multipurpose rutile TiO₂ pigment widely used across industries for its high light reflectivity, superior hiding power, and outstanding dispersibility. It is suitable for industrial coatings, solvent-based paints, and interior–exterior water-based paints that require long-term color stability and weather resistance.
In addition, R-760 is applied in high-performance printing inks that demand strong substrate adhesion and stable whiteness, as well as in engineering plastics such as PVC, ABS, PS, and white masterbatches. Thanks to its all-round performance, BOOM R-760 is an ideal choice for formulations requiring visual clarity and high coverage across diverse application environments.
2. USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
R-760 should be dispersed into the base system using high-speed mixing equipment to achieve a Hegman fineness ≥6.0. For plastics, incorporate R-760 using extrusion or compounding systems under stable temperature to prevent agglomeration. In inks or water-based coatings, compatibility with the resin system should be tested to ensure suspension stability.
3. TECHNICAL NOTES
TiO₂ R-760 features a stable pH profile and is compatible with most common resins, including both waterborne and solventborne systems. Its low oil absorption improves gloss, enhances coverage, and reduces the need for excess film-forming agents in formulations.
To maintain pigment quality and dispersibility, store R-760 in a dry, sealed environment, avoiding exposure to moisture or direct light. Avoid blending with coarse fillers or materials prone to ionic reactions, as these may lead to flocculation or reduced whiteness in the final system.
