Pigment Permanent Orange G – P.O.13 is a Disazo Pyrazolone pigment with a vibrant, semi-transparent orange hue. The product offers heat resistance up to 160°C and good resistance to acids, alkalis, alcohol, and solvents, all rated at 4/5. Its lightfastness is moderate, rated at 6/8, making it suitable for applications not exposed to prolonged direct sunlight. With a particle size below 5 microns and low moisture content under 2%, it disperses easily. The oil absorption ranges from 30–40 ml/100g, ensuring good viscosity stability in printing and coating systems. 1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
P.O.13, an organic pigment from the azo group, is recognized for its bright orange color, good color fastness, and heat resistance, suitable for various applications. Beyond its use in water-based inks, textile printing pastes, offset inks, and powder coatings, P.O.13 performs effectively in fields requiring vibrant and stable colors. It is particularly suitable for indoor applications due to its ability to maintain long-lasting color under artificial lighting and less harsh environmental conditions.
In the plastics industry, P.O.13 is used to color PVC and polyolefin (PO), providing uniform and stable coloration in products like plastic films, pipes, or technical plastic components. Additionally, P.O.13 is applied in certain powder coating systems, particularly those requiring good thermal stability during processing.
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Disperse using a basket mill or high-speed mixing equipment. For water-based systems, adjust the pH to 6.0–7.0 to ensure stability. Non-ionic dispersants can be used to enhance pigment separation efficiency.
3. TECHNICAL NOTES
Not recommended for long-term outdoor applications. Test lightfastness when used in decorative paint systems. Avoid combining with systems containing strong oxidizing agents.
