VC103 is a premium wax-form traditional lead stabilizer containing 35.0%±1% PbO and low volatility (≤ 0.5%), delivering superior thermal stability and long-term durability for rigid PVC applications. The product is engineered to enhance melt flow during processing, reduce mechanical wear, and improve surface gloss and sheet thickness uniformity. Notably, VC103 supports effective foam control, helping to reduce product density, optimize raw material costs, and maintain stable processing performance. 1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
VC103 is widely used in the extrusion of high-performance PVC products that require excellent heat stability and surface finish, including rigid PVC foam sheets, wood-grain decorative panels, stone plastic wall panels, foamed WPC profiles, and related applications. It is especially suitable for high-speed extrusion lines or large-scale production, where smooth, glossy, and density-consistent surfaces are critical.
2. TECHNICAL NOTES
VC103 should be thoroughly blended with PVC resin from the initial mixing stage for optimal dispersion. Dosage should be tailored to specific foaming formulations, typically ranging from 4–6 phr. Avoid exceeding the recommended processing temperature to maintain lead system stability and minimize unwanted gas formation. VC103 can be combined with auxiliary lubricants to improve demolding and control surface gloss.
Store the product in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and high humidity. After opening, if not fully consumed, reseal the bag tightly and use as soon as possible to maintain product quality. Avoid storage near volatile chemicals or in environments exceeding 40°C for extended periods.
