SuperFlow™ is a high-performance recirculating bead mill developed by Bühler for applications that demand ultra-fine, stable dispersion and energy efficiency. The system integrates a high-pressure recirculation pump, sealed grinding chamber, efficient cooling mechanism, and optimized flow path design to enhance shear force.
SuperFlow™ delivers long-term stable operation, enabling precise particle size control while preserving the integrity of sensitive raw materials. This is one of the products officially distributed by Vichem – Bühler’s authorized distributor in Vietnam.
1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
SuperFlow™ is widely used in industrial coatings, printing inks, pigment pastes, anti-corrosion surface treatments, electronic materials, and high-performance polymer systems. The system is well-suited for inorganic pigments, functional fillers, metal oxides, titanium dioxide (TiO₂), and various nano-scale material systems. It is particularly effective for thermally sensitive materials requiring sub-micron fineness (<1 μm).
2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before operation, pre-filter the paste to remove large particles or agglomerates. Start the recirculation system, set chamber pressure and temperature as specified. Adjust the grinding speed to achieve stable flow without generating air bubbles. At the end of each batch, circulate cleaning solvent at low speed to flush the system. It is important to inspect the pump and agitator after each shift to ensure consistent performance.
3. TECHNICAL NOTES
SuperFlow™ operates optimally with grinding media sized between 0.3–1.0 mm, depending on the material type. Chamber temperature should be kept ≤50°C to avoid solvent evaporation or material degradation. The ideal paste viscosity is between 1,000–3,000 cP. Ensure the paste has a uniform particle size distribution to prevent pump clogging. Routine checks on mechanical seals, filter screens, and the grinding chamber are recommended to maintain machine durability and performance.
