T4201C-2 is a synthetic additive package designed for automotive and industrial heavy-duty gear oils. It contains high-performance extreme pressure (EP) anti-wear, antioxidant, and anti-rust components, formulated to perform effectively under high temperature, heavy load, and long-term oxidation resistance requirements. Compatible with Group I, II, and III mineral base oils, T4201C-2 is a clear yellow liquid that is easy to blend and allows for accurate dosage control. This product is officially distributed by Vichem – the authorized distributor of MINGLAN in Vietnam.
1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
T4201C-2 is suitable for formulating gear oils that meet API GL-5 and GL-4 specifications. It performs effectively in industrial gear oils for heavy-duty (CKD) and medium-duty (CKC) applications. The recommended treat rate ranges from 0.8% to 3.8%, depending on the target API performance level. T4201C-2 enhances oil film strength, reduces surface corrosion and wear, and protects drivetrain components under high pressure and high-speed conditions.
2. TECHNICAL NOTES
Do not exceed the recommended dosage of T4201C-2, as it may affect emulsion system stability. Avoid blending with additives containing active metals unless compatibility has been verified. Store the product in a dry area, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Compatibility with base oils should be confirmed before large-scale blending, and full testing—including viscosity and oxidation stability—should be performed before commercial production.
