A surface passes the Dyne test when the test fluid spreads evenly within two seconds. If the fluid beads up or fails to wet the surface, the Dyne level is insufficient and treatment is required. Corona treatment is the most common method, alongside plasma and flame treatments. After treatment, Dyne must be re-measured to confirm compliance.
