T3161 CL-4/SL is a synthetic additive package developed for the formulation of high-quality automotive engine oils, meeting API CI-4, CH-4, CF-4, and SL performance standards. Suitable for both mono-grade and multi-grade oils, the package allows for performance customization based on dosage levels. With a high flash point of ≥ 180°C, it ensures safety during storage and handling. This is one of the products officially distributed by Vichem – the authorized distributor of MINGLAN in Vietnam.
1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
T3161 CL-4/SL is a comprehensive additive package for diesel and gasoline engine oils, designed to achieve API performance levels ranging from CF-4 to CI-4/SL. Depending on the treat rate, the product optimizes detergency, anti-wear protection, metal surface shielding, and oxidative stability. It is particularly well-suited for high-power engines, heavy-duty trucks, industrial equipment, and systems requiring long-lasting, reliable performance.
2. TECHNICAL NOTES
T3161 CL-4/SL features a Total Base Number (TBN) of ≥ 110 mgKOH/g, calcium content ≥ 3.0%, zinc ≥ 1.1%, phosphorus ≥ 0.95%, nitrogen ≥ 0.6%, and molybdenum at 0.025%. The product offers excellent antioxidant, anti-corrosion, and thermal stability properties. Its kinematic viscosity at 100°C can be tailored according to the selected base oil. All specifications are tested in accordance with international standards such as GB/T, ASTM, and SH/T.
