Polyisobutene PIB 32 is a polymer primarily composed of aliphatic mono-olefins, produced using advanced polymerization technology from high-purity isobutene feedstock. The product features excellent stability, is non-volatile, oxidation-resistant, and insoluble in water.
PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
Due to its low flow characteristics and strong adhesion, PIB 32 is used as a lubricant additive, viscosity modifier in synthetic oils, or as a base material in cosmetics and technical polymer films. PIB 32 is also suitable for use in industrial oil formulations, stretch films, and heat-resistant adhesive systems requiring long-term stability.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
The product is supplied in 175 kg metal drums or isotanks. It should be stored at temperatures below 50°C, protected from direct sunlight, moisture, and soil contact to ensure product quality.
When properly stored, the shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture. During use, avoid moisture or contamination, as these can affect the polymer’s clarity and viscosity index.
