Polyaspartic resin is a modified polyurea with fast curing ability, high hardness, and excellent weather resistance. This product features a unique molecular structure that allows thick film application, fast drying time, while maintaining flexibility and coating durability. Thanks to its curing mechanism with isocyanate, polyaspartic resin forms a tightly bonded, elastic film with superior UV resistance. It is an ideal choice for finishing coats in harsh environments or projects requiring quick turnaround. 1. PRODUCT APPLICATION
Polyaspartic resin is widely used in floor coating systems, factory flooring, parking areas, bridges, steel structures, and outdoor coatings requiring high weather resistance. With the ability to be applied directly on fresh or treated concrete, the product helps shorten project time while ensuring excellent resistance to abrasion, scratches, and chemicals. In industrial decoration, it is also used as a topcoat for epoxy, PU, or polyurea systems to enhance aesthetics and surface hardness. With fast drying and no dependence on temperature, polyaspartics are especially suitable for time-sensitive projects.
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
When using polyaspartic resin, mix it in the correct ratio with isocyanate as instructed to ensure complete curing. After mixing, stir the blend thoroughly and apply within the pot life of 20 to 45 minutes depending on temperature conditions. The surface must be clean, dry, and dust-free before coating to ensure good adhesion. Application can be done using brush, roller, or spray depending on viscosity and aesthetic requirements. For thick coatings, apply in multiple thin layers to avoid bubbling or sagging.
3. TECHNICAL NOTES
Polyaspartic resin cures quickly, so proper preparation is required before mixing to avoid waste. It is not suitable for application in high-humidity environments as it may cause bubbling and reduce gloss. The ideal application temperature is between 15 and 35°C, with proper ventilation to allow solvent evaporation. After opening, the product should be used promptly and any remaining portion must be sealed tightly, stored away from direct sunlight and high heat sources.
