1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
Permanent Yellow 5GX – P.Y.74 is widely used in water-based inks, water-based coatings, textile printing pastes, and solvent-based inks and coatings. Its bright yellow shade, high opacity, and consistent color stability make it suitable for packaging, labeling, apparel, and construction material applications meeting stringent technical standards.
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Disperse P.Y.74 using high-speed bead or triple-roll mills with compatible dispersing agents to optimize compatibility in ink or coating systems. Adjust loading (typically 1–10% of the formulation) to achieve desired color brightness, surface coverage, and long-term stability.
3. TECHNICAL NOTES
Store in a dry, cool environment, avoiding high humidity and direct sunlight to preserve fineness and dispersibility. Use PPE (gloves, goggles, masks) during handling to minimize dust exposure. With thermal stability up to 180°C, good lightfastness, and resistance to solvents like ethanol, toluene, esters, and ketones, P.Y.74 meets industrial processing and printing requirements.
