VC301 is a traditional lead-based stabilizer in wax form, optimized for foamed and rigid PVC extrusion formulations. With a PbO content of 26.0±1% and low volatility (≤ 0.5%), it significantly enhances thermal stability, lubrication, and weather resistance under continuous processing conditions. In addition to improving surface gloss and thickness uniformity, VC301 helps control material density, minimize foam cell defects, and optimize raw material costs in various sheet thickness applications. This is one of the product codes distributed by Vichem – the official distributor of Tiansheng in Vietnam.
1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
VC301 is widely used in the production of foamed PVC products such as rigid foam sheets, wood-pattern decorative boards, stone plastic wall panels, foamed wood–plastic profiles, and many other foam-based items manufactured via extrusion. It is particularly suitable for manufacturers requiring high thermal stability, consistent surface quality, and cost-effective performance in continuous processing environments.
2. TECHNICAL NOTES
VC301 should be thoroughly mixed into the PVC compound before processing to ensure uniform dispersion and avoid agglomeration. Recommended dosage: 3–5 phr depending on the formulation and processing goals. Avoid processing temperatures above PVC’s decomposition point (typically >200°C) to reduce fume generation and preserve stabilizer efficiency. Additional external lubricants may be used to enhance demolding and surface gloss if needed.
VC301 should be stored in original packaging, in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or high humidity zones. After opening, reseal tightly to prevent moisture absorption or surface alteration. Do not store near reactive chemicals or materials incompatible with lead compounds. Follow a first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory system to maintain long-term product stability.
