Pigment Fast Red F5RK – P.R.170 is a high-performance Naphthol-based organic pigment exhibiting exceptional tinctorial strength and a stable, vibrant red hue. It offers thermal stability up to 180°C and outstanding lightfastness rated at 7/8 on the Blue Wool Scale. The pigment demonstrates superior chemical resistance, with acid, alkali, and solvent fastness all rated at level 5, ensuring robust performance in coatings and ink formulations. Additionally, it provides excellent resistance to saponification, migration, and overpainting bleed, maintaining maximum durability.

1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
Fast Red F5RK – P.R.170 is extensively utilized in high-performance industrial coatings and coil coatings requiring consistent chromatic stability. It is also suitable for polyurethane (PU) systems, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastics, water-based decorative coatings, aqueous and solvent-based printing inks, textile printing, and electrostatic powder coatings.
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Disperse using high-shear mixing equipment or an appropriate milling system. Optimize dispersion duration based on the specific resin or binder system. Adjust formulation viscosity prior to incorporation to maximize compatibility and homogeneity.
3. TECHNICAL NOTES
Avoid blending with strong oxidizing agents to prevent degradation. Conduct compatibility testing with the resin system prior to large-scale production. In high-pH environments, perform preliminary colorfastness tests. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight to maintain pigment integrity.
