PEWAX VC90 is a full powder lubricant with high monoglycerin content (≥ 90%) and low acid value (≤ 6 mg KOH/g), ensuring stability under various thermal processing conditions. The product offers outstanding compatibility with PVC additive systems, including demanding processes such as complex cross-cutting or high-speed injection molding. VC90 is free from bisphenol A and complies with ROHS and REACH regulations, making it fully suitable for environmentally controlled plastic formulations. 1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
VC90 is used in the production of PVC window and door profiles, drainage pipes, calendered sheets, SPC boards, valve fittings, foam shoe soles, and molded foam panels. It is also highly effective in combination with powdered calcium–zinc stabilizers or for use in PVC masterbatch formulations. Thanks to its excellent pigment dispersion capability, VC90 enhances color uniformity and improves surface treatment throughout the processing cycle.
2. TECHNICAL NOTES
When using VC90, the dosage should be adjusted depending on the base resin system and lubrication goals. For optimal results, the product should be dispersed early in the initial processing stage and used in combination with stabilizers or temperature modifiers to control free flow behavior. In formulations requiring high clarity or bright colors, small-scale trials are recommended to check compatibility and pigment dispersion performance.
Store the product in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Packaging should be sealed immediately after use to avoid moisture absorption or contamination from the environment. For long-term storage, it is recommended to keep the product below 35°C and recheck its physical properties before full-scale production.
