CZ8601-T2 is a thermal stabilizer based on zinc fatty acid salts, enhanced with functional additives to optimize both heat stability and lubrication throughout the extrusion process. With a high metal oxide content (32.5% ± 2.0) and zinc content of approximately 2.9% ± 0.5, combined with low volatility (≤ 4.0%), the product ensures consistent performance even under continuous high-temperature operation. CZ8601-T2 contains no heavy metals or restricted substances and fully complies with current legal and environmental regulations. 1. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
This product is specially designed for PVC extrusion applications, particularly effective in the production of technical plastic pipes, profiles, and edge trims due to its balanced internal and external lubrication. CZ8601-T2 not only enhances process stability but also improves surface smoothness, gloss, and consistency of the final product.
2. TECHNICAL NOTES
CZ8601-T2 should be used at the recommended dosage specific to each formulation system (typically 3–6 phr). Ensure thorough blending and uniform dispersion before extrusion to prevent agglomeration or surface build-up on the mold. Avoid processing above PVC’s thermal limits to prevent additive degradation and unwanted gas release. The product can be combined with auxiliary stabilizers when special processing systems are required.
Store in original sealed packaging, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Warehousing conditions should be dry and cool, with temperatures not exceeding 40°C. If not fully used, reseal the bag after opening and record the date of use to maintain product freshness for future batches.
