WHAT IS TITANIUM DIOXIDE?

WHAT IS THE D34 GUIDE ACCORDING TO ASTM STANDARDS? 

The D34 test method refers to ASTM D34, officially known as the Standard Guide for Chemical Analysis of White Pigments. This standard guides the chemical analysis of white pigments, including titanium dioxide (TiO2), widely used in ink and plastics.

ASTM D34 ensures the determination of pigment composition and purity, guaranteeing quality for industrial applications. With nano or submicron particle sizes, TiO2 achieves high dispersibility, improving opacity, whiteness, and color durability. ASTM D34 provides analytical methods like spectroscopy to optimize TiO2 performance in production.

APPLICATION OF ASTM D34 IN INK PRODUCTION
